Neurosomatic Mindfulness Retreat

This new and unique program that we have prepared for you with my colleague Lenka Madudová connects mindfulness practice based on old traditions with neuroscience and somatic exercises from the polyvagal theory of Dr. Stephen Porges.

Join us for a neurosomatic mindfulness weekend in the wonderful surroundings of Štrbské pleso

This relaxing and at the same time very educational stay will teach you how to work with your mind and nervous system to effectively manage stress, regulate your experience, emotions and constantly improve your mental and physical health.

The program is based on the latest scientific knowledge from neuroscience, mindfulness and in-depth work with the nervous system. The unique combination of these approaches with a strong synergistic effect will allow you to learn practical techniques that can be implemented within a few minutes.

You will find out how to be in a state of flow and perform without unnecessary tension, you will increase your ability to understand your experience of things and use it to your advantage, as well as the ability to perceive the subtle signals of your body and develop your wisdom thanks to them.

What will the retreat look like

We will meet in the beautiful surroundings of Štrbské pleso, meditate, relax and get to know the latest knowledge from neuroscience in a playful way. The retreat includes hotel accommodation, access to the wellness center, half board and a weekend course. The stay starts on Friday May 31. at 2:30 p.m. and ends on Sunday, June 2. 12.00pm.

You will be guided  by two teachers: Eva Zavacka and Lenka Madudová. We  are both psychologists passionate abbout connecting old traditions with the latest research and knowledge about the functioning of the nervous system.

What can you expect

  • Measurement of the level of stress and the functioning of your nervous system on a certified Max Pulse device for each participant of the stay
  • Mindfulness meditations – it doesn’t matter whether you already have meditation practice or have never meditated, everyone will have their own unique experience
  • Somatic/body exercises that regulate the nervous system
  • We will show you how to influence the physiology of the body, thoughts and feelings by stimulating the vagus nerve
  • Mindful walks and activities in nature
  • Fascinating neuroscience research and practical guidance on how to consciously work with the neuroplasticity of your brain
  • Neurohacking – how to take care of brain health and mental well-being, today’s modern times allow us to take responsibility for our health thanks to many possibilities  and we will show you how to do this
  • Relaxing, quieting down and immersing yourself in a pleasant environment

Research on brain neuroplasticity shows that the most effective way to achieve lasting change is to learn in a way that is embodied, experiential and somewhat challenging. During this relaxing weekend, we will engage all of these components.

When: Friday May 31 from 2.30pm – Sunday June 2 until 12.00pm

Where: Hotel Sorea Trigan, Štrbské Pleaso.

Accommodation is possible in double rooms in pairs or individually or in smaller single rooms.

The stay includes access to the wellness center and half-board in the form of rich buffet tables with wide options for all types of dietary preferences (including for vegetarians and vegans).

Price:

EARLY BIRD  – registrations until April 30:

EUR 425 for a participant in a smaller single room or in a double room occupied by 2 participants

EUR 445 Euros for a participant in a double room occupied by one person

STANDARD Price – registrations until May 24:

EUR 465 for a participant in a smaller single room or in a double room occupied by 2 participants

EUR 485 Euros for a participant in a double room occupied by one person

The price includes: a stay at the Sorea Trigan hotel with half board in the form of buffet tables and access to the wellness center, a weekend neurosomatic mindfulness course, stress level measurement for each participant and the possibility of an individual consultation.

Registration: After completing the course registration form, we will send you an advance invoice. After paying it, we can confirm your participation in the retreat.
