MBSR: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction – 8-week program

Almost all of us experience stress and difficulties in our lives. MBSR is a science-based program to deal with stress, difficult thoughts or challenging emotions. It also enables participants to be more attuned to pleasant moments in life and feel more inner piece.

Attend the 8-week MBSR course

MBSR was developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in the 1970s by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn. It is a clinically proven method that eliminates stress reactions, strengthens mental health and improves cognitive skills (memory, attention and decision making). 

What to expect 

You will attend 8 sessions in duration of 2.5 hours once a week in the evening and a one-day meeting at weekend after 6 weeks. Besides this, you will obtain meditation recordings for home practice. An individual  preparation consultation and consultation after the course are part of the program. The program will be conducted in Slovak language in a small group.

When: Tuesdays from March 19 to  May 7, 2024, from 6 pm to 8.30 pm

Mindfulness Day will place on April 28 from 9.00 to 2.30pm

Price: Eur 275 for the whole program. The price contains preparation consultation, 8 sessions in duration of 2.5 hours and one longer meeting at a weekend, consultation after the program, materials and meditation recordings.
