Mindfulness for Parenting – 9-Week Course

Would you like to bring more calm, understanding, and perspective into your life?
Would you like to go deeper and practically learn how to integrate mindfulness into your everyday living?

Discover the power of mindfulness.
This course will guide you on a journey of gradually and naturally incorporating mindfulness into your daily life — at home, at work, and in your relationships.

Together we’ll practice simple exercises and techniques that help manage emotions, improve communication, and bring more harmony into parenting and family life.
The course also includes guided recordings and home practices to help you truly “get mindfulness under your skin.”

When: Mondays, from October 20 to December 15, 5:00 – 7:30 PM

The course runs once a week, every Monday evening, for nine consecutive weeks.

Where: MAMI Club, Dolný Kubín

Contribution: Recommended fee €250 for the full course

Before the course begins, each participant will have an individual introductory meeting with the teacher.

About the Teacher – PhDr. Tatiana Lorencová, Ph.D

After completing a Master’s degree in Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, I began working as a psychologist at the Rehabilitation Institute in Kladruby. The work was inspiring and formative in many ways, yet also limiting in others. This led me to explore new perspectives on life and the human experience.

That journey brought yoga, shiatsu, qi gong — and eventually mindfulness — into my life. Amazed by its simplicity, authenticity, and effectiveness, I completed the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher training at UC San Diego. I then focused my doctoral research on how mindfulness influences the quality of life in people living with multiple sclerosis.

It continues to bring me joy to share the message of mindfulness, raise awareness, and help people discover their inner potential through mindful living. Alongside the gift of lifelong learning, I have also received another precious gift — two wonderful children, whom I raise in the embrace of a loving family and the nearby mountains.
